Last night you were successful in switching on the power plant's capacitor, enabling me to produce a small quantity of the vaccine. However, many of you paid for this feat with your lives. While I distributed the vaccine to all to all that I could, the remaining vaccine has been locked in storage. The time to act is now. While I had hesitated before, the lives of the men and women that were lost last night could have been saved if I had been more willing to act. Now I can no longer sit back and hope for a happy ending. This will be your final task. All of our hope rests on your completion.
There is an experimental device on this site, developed in secrecy by Paradigm. While it is still untested, work was completed on it just before the outbreak. It is a chronobox, a device designed to freeze time itself for all living things within a targeted radius. A time bomb, if you will. It was originally developed for ending riots, but I have spent the entire night altering it's programming with the information you have gathered for me, causing the chronobox to target only the biological readings of the infected. I have made the changes to the programming, but you must reactivate each of the three transmitters required to successfully delpoy the chronobox. The device has been placed on a timer, set to go off at 1800hrs, regardless of your success, but unless three transmitters are reactivated, there is no telling what will happen upon detonation.
This is our darkest hour. This will be our last chance to stop this. You know what you have to do.

The Vaccine Is Almost Ready!
All of my preparations are complete to produce a vaccine. My only concern is the tremendous draw on the emergency power grid my labs are running on. To synthesize the vaccine, it will put a large strain on the grid, and I am worried about what systems may shut down. In order to prevent this, I have another request for you. There is a Paradigm power plant nearby that has a large capacitor. If you can go and turn on the capacitor it should help maintain the power at least long enough to produce the vaccine. Because you were able to bring me so many samples to work with, I should be able to create enough to vaccinate quite a few of you. The exact number of vaccines won't be know until I start the synthesizing process, but I think I should be able to stretch it out by using the data I've gathered from my assistant. The vaccine is still experimental, and there is no guarantee that it will work, but I am almost certain it will.
The capacitor can only be turned on by entering the correct password, which can usually be found on or around the entry port, although it is almost certainly encoded. If you were successful in finding the ANGELS decoding device last night, you should have limited trouble solving for the password. Standard Paradigm security consoles only allow a short window to enter the correct password after the console has been accessed, so be sure to act fast.
I have also made a brilliant breakthrough with the Bio-Function Gauge. There should be a transmitter at the power plant. If you can find it and attach it to the BFG, it will drastically change the function, allowing for an entire area to be affected instead of just a single target. The stress of this affect on the BFG will be great however, enough so that I believe that you will only get one shot with it before the inner core burns out, rendering it useless. Once the transmitter is connected, make sure you are ready before firing it, as it will be a one-time only opportunity.
I fear that I will not have the time needed to find a cure for this virus, and my vaccine is only temporary. I must find a way to gain more time without the sacrifice of anyone else. I have an idea, but I don't know if I am ready to resort to that just yet. For now, I am safe within my lab.

Great Success
With the samples brought back to me last night, I will be able to do several things to help you out. In addition to the data I am gathering on my assistant, the information you have been bringing me with the BFG has proven quite useful, and I now believe I can improve on the BFG even more. With this upgrade, it will no longer matter which infected you tag. While it still has a significant recharge rate, you will now have the ability to use it on any one infected of your choosing per day, incapacitating them for an hour. I have made the modifications, but they will not have any affect until you attach a new firing mechanism, which I have the location of.
I have also been continuing the research I had started on a vaccine. After seeing what happened to my assistant, I now know that the problem was partly because I gave it too her after she had been exposed to the virus, I am almost certain that with my new research data, I can produce a vaccine for you that will provide a one time immunity from exposure. The Amount of material I have to work with is much greater thanks to you finding all three of the samples I located, and thus, the amount of vaccines I can produce is increased as well. It will take me some time to finish the preparations neccasary to produce the vaccine, about a day, at most, but in the mean time, I have another reward for your efforts.
I have found files from Captain Carter, referencing a series of supply caches. The file mentions five different caches, but it only gives the location of two. It is suggested that the locations of the other caches can be found at the two named locations. Each location is supposed to have a different assortment of supplies, all of which I am sure will come in handy. The file mentions three things that make this seem like a worthwhile venture. The first is a mention to an ANGELS decoding device, which should enable access to many places in the future. The second is the firing mechanism needed to creat the BFG Mark II. If you find it, it should be easy to assmeble it. The third is simply marked in the file as "Heavy Munitions". I am certain all of these things will come in very handy in the days to come. I'll send you the locations I know of soon. Go get supplied, and I'll continue on my work with the vaccine. I should have it all but ready by tomorrow.

Unexpected Results
It appears that my assistant was brought into my lab just in time. The experimental vaccine has proven a failure, but with several unforeseen side effects. While her body has indeed become infected, the vaccine seems to have somehow have affected the virus, changing it. She seems to have maintained her mental capacities to a greater extent than any other infected I have encountered. She lacks the violent nature found in those infected with H1Z1, but still possesses the physical changes brought on by the virus. As of now, it is unclear whether she is capable of passing on the virus to others, but at this time it does not appear that she is able to. Most subjects maintain the knowledge they possessed before their contamination, but are not able to gain any more after the virus is fully metabolized. My assistant, whose special condition I have named the Amalgam Process, seems to have maintained the ability to learn after her infection. This is a frightening concept, knowing what it could mean if the infected could all become this way. For this reason, along with my desire to continue studying the Amalgam Process, I have placed my assistant in a high powered holding unit. With the amount of energy it takes to run the unit, nothing could get in or out without my permission.

Catastrophe
Last night something terrible happened. I had my assistant escorted to my main lab. While the escort was successful, my assistant made an error. She had forgotten a data log at the lab she had been working at that had some critical information. A team or captain Carter's men volunteered to take her back to retrieve the data, assuming that it would be safe after the escort team had cleared the path. However, before they had even left sight, an infected that had somehow been missed managed to get to close. My assistant was attacked before the captain's men could stop it. I had been working on a vaccine, and I had an experimental and as of yet untested sample on hand. I had no choice. I used it in an attempt to save her. Only time will tell if it worked. Until then, I need to place her in quarantine in one of my labs. Currently she is testing herself in another center, but someone will need to bring her in.
In addition, while I have still not accounted for all of the original samples of the virus, including the damaged ones, I have discovered at least three intact samples. If I had these samples, I would be able to do many more experiments. Unfortunately, in their current state, the samples are not suited for the experiments I have in mind. They will each need to be taken to a different lab, where another of my assistants will be able to quickly make the necessary preparations before bringing it to me.
There is some good news though, as the first trial of the Bio-Function Gauge was a success, and with the information gathered, I am certain I can make it even more effective.
Although I am both saddened and horrified with what happened to my assistant, I must admit that it is also an opportunity to see just how effective my prototype vaccine really is... It truly is fascinating.
My other assistants will have all of the information you'll need for the tasks at hand. They'll be in touch.

Patient Zero
If you are reading this, then perhaps all hope is not lost. There was.. an accident in my lab. Several of the remaining samples of the H1Z1 virus were not sealed properly, resulting in possible contamination. I have not yet confirmed how many samples were damaged, but I fear that the virus will soon spread to the population with voracious speed if nothing is done. I must continue my research if we are to have any hope of stopping a full outbreak. It is imperative that I remain safe until this threat has been dealt with. I have several labs on site, and my work is spread out among them all. I feel that I should move to one of the more fortified labs, but I will need your help getting there. If I can make it there, I should be safer. I'll need you to help me with my research, as it is too dangerous for me to be leave the safety of my lab. I know it will be dangerous for you, but if you are able to help my research, it will be beneficial to you, as well.
My first priority is obtaining the most up to date data on the viral mutation. To do this, you will need to find specific infected and take a sample. I know this is going to be difficult, but I am almost finished with my prototype for a device that should help. The Bio-Function Gauge, or BFG, is a fantastic piece of scientific equipment capable of incapacitating an infected and automatically taking a reading of their biological signs. The BFG's design includes a probe that will transmit the readings directly to my lab. The probe needs to recharge after each use, so make sure you hit your target on the first try, because you'll only get one shot. I just need you to get the information I need, when I need it. The BFG is very complex, so I doubt I will be able to produce more than one with my limited supplies, but I may be able to improve upon my design as you bring in more research data for me to look at.
I'll be in touch with you soon, letting you know when I am ready to move to another lab. The Bio-Function Gauge should be finished by then, so be ready to take it out for it's first trial soon.
